The Ancient Game of Go is a very old and intricate board game.
There is an established protocol (quite weird) for
playing on the net (either directly through telnet or using a client) in
wide use associated with the Internet Go Server
(IGS). This is a client using that protocol. I recommend getting an
account at igs.joyjoy.net.
Since version 0.6 it's also possible to play against
a local program supporting the GTP (Go Text
Protocol).
Start the program from
a terminal go --help to get info.
